A Time of Grace
When we take a look at the news we may feel somewhat dismayed and dismal or maybe even worse. In fact, as you take a certain perspective of the physical world it does feel like we are teetering on the edge of the abyss. This can be no more aptly expressed than to see the Cop 30 International environment meeting taking place in Brazil near what is left of the Amazon rainforest at which leaders of the major players, USA, China and India, are not even present.
It also seems no coincidence that our mental ability to handle the world in its current form is moving in a negative direction, resulting in alarming levels of mental illnesses especially in our young. It appears the world we have created is not a safe place for our children or our communities. It seems also that we have an attraction to the drama of the ongoing suffering greatly enhanced by our media both internationally and nationally but now with social media individually.
However the building block of our world is not form but energy. When we shift our attention from the form of this world to understanding and experiencing it’s energy a different picture can emerge. Recently we completed a 10-day seminar in Salisbury; before it started many of us were in intense process and also concerned about what issues would arise during the seminar. The venue was the Guildhall in Salisbury which over many years has been the venue for deep and profound healing and transformation. So it was with great relief that the energy in the room from the first day held waves of love and grace. Day by day the energy built with participants experiencing higher and higher levels of grace which facilitated easy and profound healing and change. The joining sessions saw most people breaking into new levels of consciousness and experiences, all in all it was a powerful and enlightening experience.
So now it feels true that on a material and form level we face some deep and threatening issues, but at the same time the amount of grace that is available is also very present. It appears to be a matter of focus. We can make the decision to shift our focus from the despair of the world and open ourselves to the grace that is being offered. Once we receive that grace then, if we choose, we can carry it into our world of form, for not much in this life is worthwhile without grace, without the relationship with the Divine. It has to be a major ingredient of our every endeavour, be it business, our relationships or others. Grace is essential for meaningful success and the essence of our road back home.
We are all being called to remember our connection to the Divine in whatever form that is for you and to remember anything we create without following that energy will more than likely hurt us rather than build a world that is safe for us and others around us.
