As many of you know Susie and I brew microbes in our spare time. Actually microbes are an important part of our lives and we believe they hold many of the solutions to the issues facing our natural world. Also they have so much to teach us especially around change, communication, mutuality and survival.
Recently we rebranded our Microbz company, which has meant across the board change: changing the labels, “look” and the website. All this has improved our marketing and sales. So from a business and marketing point of view we have done many things out there in the physical world; we have ticked the boxes.
We meet every week with our work colleagues, and last time we worked on the issues that separate us. We spoke of the power of our thoughts and intentions and how they affect every aspect of our lives. Basically we worked on our friendship, equality and bonding as a group.
The results of this meeting was that sales immediately took off, taking us all by surprise. And yet
on reflection it was just another reminder of the importance of our healing and group consciousness. Each family, company, gathering of people has a collective consciousness, a group mind and this mind is important to observe for any signs of imbalance which could lead to conflict.
This has all been a timely reminder of a vital principle. Of course we need to do all the physical things out there in our businesses, like printing, websites and whatever other things we believe we need. But the real success comes from going inwards, applying ourselves to changing and healing and ensuring good relationships, even creative relationships with those we are close to. Because without this we just have things and no matter how many things we have we will never be truly fulfilled or happy.
So now our marketing policy is friendship and connection before, during and after whatever else we do!
