Achieving our Goals
Last weekend we came together with friends and family at Naish House to celebrate a goal achieved here. We opened the new Microbz centre; the sun shone and we all enjoyed ourselves. The centre will be used for seminars, brewing microbes and educating people about their essential benefits to our survival. This coming September will see us host our first VisionWorks seminar, which will certainly be another milestone for us both.
It is essential that we set goals to help achieve happiness and prosperity. In every relationship, partners should discuss why they are together and what they are trying to achieve by sharing their lives. it is important to review those goals every so often. Without goals we wander aimlessly until finally we find that large hole in the ground to fall into.
In fact, we have set goals even when we do not think we have; we have just set them unconsciously and whatever happens in our lives is the result of these hidden goals. By making conscious choices for our goals we bring more awareness to the process and use the power of our conscious mind. So, it follows that when we do not achieve our goals it is because we have a more powerful choice or choices still operating subconsciously or unconsciously. Then it is important to bring that goal to the surface and transform it using some healing practice.
The next great lesson around goal setting is to let go of how it is going to happen. This really is the tough part for us controllers, as we are so conditioned to setting a goal then minutely planning every step to get there. It is true on occasions that control will work, but not without a cost. Firstly, you will have to do each and everything yourself or become very demanding towards others that they do it your way. Secondly, it will be stressful marching your army towards that certain goal and when you get there you will probably be disappointed and so repeat the exercise, which will become boring.
However, when you let go of how your goal is going to happen, then help and contributions can come from any quarter. Our intuition has room to move, providence can play a part and solutions we could have never imagined could present themselves. Friends can step in with offers of help and the whole process becomes exciting and even joyful.
When we set a goal we are making a choice and it is important it is as accurate and as well thought out as possible. It can help to write it down or tell another person, recognising the power of our choices. This is a communication from our conscious mind to our unconscious mind and once we send that signal our unconscious mind will set to work in ways we could never have imagined to give us what we want. It will work hand in hand with the Creator to help us achieve happiness.
So, from the moment we set our goal until we achieve it, everything that comes up is what we need to heal and transform in order to succeed. There are infinite strands and possibilities for every step of our lives. We are all here on a journey and while we have a contribution and a choice about much of it we are not the only show in town!
With love,
