A Summer Lost
We are in a time perfect for letting go and this difficult but powerful lesson is now available to learn. Firstly we need to let go of our expectation of Summer because even if August is sunny so far this Summer has broken all the wrong records and its effect on crops and our food chain has yet to be felt.
Secondly available right now is the ability to let go of the financial model we live in. In the current model we see the deepest faults of the human psyche. We see how our world has been built on scarcity, abuse and excess, the very opposite values required for sustainability and communal living.
Thirdly we need to let go of believing our saviour will arrive in the form of politicians, who lack vision and the courage to recognize the need for deep and fundamental changes. It is time to rise above the power struggles and partisan views.
Letting go brings about right relationship. When we have a collection of pictures in our minds about how things “should” be then we are holding on and it is only a matter of time before those ideas and assumptions become constricting. If we persist with holding on we get further off track and the bigger the bump in the road will be. Our world is accelerating and if we are less encumbered with our baggage from our past we can really learn about letting go. This means allowing everything to return to right relationship, not how we think things should be but rather how the Universe wants things to be.
Our release from scarcity and fear is going to come from us, ordinary people who might be doing ordinary things but in an extra-ordinary way. We can learn to build a world based on love and caring, the values that underpin everything we do every day. We can excel in being our best selves as we open to vision and creativity and we learn to open the channel between ourselves and our Higher Minds, The Creator, Universal Love or God because without that guidance we hold onto ideas that do not work for us.
We are the solution to our problems but we can only do that in partnerships and right relationship, partnerships with the friends around us and with Grace. Once we have that bit right, I believe, everything else will work out.
Today would be a great day to learn the lesson of letting go again and dump all those “should”, “must” and “have to”’s and all the pictures, stress and expectations they have created. There is a way forward and there is a solution to everything!
Love
